Dear father and mother it is with a sorrowfull hart that I now drop

Sunday night it seemed almost more than we can bear but we have to bear
it because we cannot help our selfs he was a strong harty little boy
all the time until the monday before he died he had a rash out on him
what they call the hives for about for about six weeks and he caught
a little

with a little
cold Monday night about six

so to get fresh air the cold turned into phemmonia he was very sick all
week his lungs seemed to all decay he suffered terrible he never had
a days sickness before allways well and good natured hardly ever cried
for anything when we would talk to him he was always bright and laughing
