Henry
Morgan Perry was
born December 3, 1856 in Box Elder County, Utah to Henry
Elisha Perry and Elizabeth Zabriskie.
He married Fannie Young on February
24, 1881 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had ten children: Henry Elisha,
Martha Maude, Leslie Thomas, Albert Zabrina, Heber Morgan, Melba Elizabeth, Eunice Jane, Eurene Eliza, Velda Annie, and
Verna Fannie.
Henry, his wife, and their small children
moved to Freemont County, Idaho in 1885. The town was later named Rudy.
He served as a schoolteacher in the community for many years. He was
also an official of the Great Feeder Canal Company.
Henry died on January 26, 1930 and
is buried in Rigby, Idaho.
