Thomas
Young was born February 8, 1836 in Bedfordshire, England to George Young
and Ann Willshire. He married Martha
Webb Campkin.
They had three children: Fannie, Thomas Henry, and Albert Horbert.
Thomas was baptized in 1855 in England.
He immigrated to Utah during 1856, and travelled across the plains with
the James Willie Handcart Company. During the journey, he met his future
wife and married her upon reaching Utah. In 1860 he settled in Three
Mile Creek (known as Perry today).
Thomas died on February 16, 1916 and
is buried in Brigham City, Utah.
